The Code and Standards Committee meets the third Wednesday of the month September through June. There are coffee shops nearby - bring a cup in with you - donuts provided at 7:10. The meeting begins at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 9:00 a.m.

The next Electric League Code and Standards Committee Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 21. Minutes and Agenda are sent out a few days prior to the meeting date. Contact the League Office if you would like to be included in that distribution.

SPECIAL TOPIC THIS MONTH: The 2008 National Electric Code has many new segments that could significantly change the way building electrical systems are designed and increase their costs. There is a public involvement process and the Electric League Code Committee has historically participated in the process to provide broad input from a variety of electric industry perspectives. All changes to the 2008 National Electric Code are viewable at: http://www.nfpa.org/ .

PSE Office (Summit Conference Room in Bentall Ridge Building), 320 108th Avenue NE, Bellevue, 98009.

Parking:

Underground parking is available at the PSE (Bentall Summit Building) for $6.00 for 1-2 hours and $8.00 for 2-4 hours. Free 2-hour parking should be available early in the morning on side streets immediately south of the complex.
