Join us for the Electric League's Monthly Luncheon and Networking Event, Thursday, May 22, 2008, at the Puget Sound Energy Auditorium in the Conference Center Building, 355 110th Avenue NE, Bellevue, 98004. Check-in begins at 11:30 with buffet beginning at 11:45, followed by announcements and our Puget Sound Energy Wind Power expert, Roger Garratt.
Advance registration and payment is required and is being accepted now. Please assist our planning by registering early. League Members and their guests: $25; Non-League Members $30. A late fee applies for registrations received after Tuesday, May 20.
MAY TOPIC: "Wind Power & The Wild Horse Wind Project"
Join us for an update on wind power in the Pacific Northwest. Roger Garratt, of Puget Sound Energy will share photographs and provide technical information about construction, energy production, efficiency, and the future trends in wind power.
Roger Garratt:
Roger Garratt is the Director of Resource Acquisition and Emerging Technologies for Puget Sound Energy. He is responsible for acquiring new electric generation supplies for PSE's resource portfolio, managing the green power programs, the customer renewal program, and leading the company's exploration of emerging generation technologies. Roger has been with PSE since April 2003. With PSE, Roger has led the acquisition of two gas-fired combined-cycle projects and two wind projects. Prior to PSE, Roger was a development director for the PG&E National Energy Group and a power generation sales manager with GE Power Systems.
